About Us
Why Choose Auto Source For Your Next Car?
I started Auto Source with the sole purpose of giving Savannah an alternative to the traditional car dealer. I have found that, over the years, many people trade in perfectly good, usable cars, with miles of reliable life left in them.
Why Buy Pre-Owned?
The advantage for you, the consumer, is savings of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time. Consider how: The most dramatic depreciation a car suffers is in the first six months of its life. The taxes that you have to pay on a pre-owned car are always lower than a comparable new car. Typically your cost of insurance is lower on a pre-owned automobile as well. All of these differences, when taken together, usually add up to thousands of dollars in annual savings for you.
Where Do Your Cars Come From?
Auto Source works with many local and out-of-town new car dealers who have a surplus of trade-ins. We also acquire vehicles from leasing companies whose customers have completed the term of their lease and turned the car in. We buy no salvage or wrecked cars from insurance companies.
How Do You Know They Are Good Cars?
The Auto Source Inspection: How many times have you gone to look at a pre-owned car and it just doesn't run very well? Auto Source has a series of inspections that every car we sell must go through. It begins with a full five-mile test drive and evaluation. Every car is given a fresh oil change and a full mechanical inspection. Ask to see a copy of the delivery inspection sheets on any of our cars. This will usually give you an indication of what type of work we've done on the car and anything else that may be an issue down the road. Lastly, every vehicle is given a full professional detailing, a final test drive and then placed on our lot.
